(get it? my name is Oscar and I am their son. whatever, i am going to be in bed when that show is on anyways.)

She did it!

After 3 years of "studying" for the Illinois Real Estate Exam, my Mom finally took the state exam and passed! Now, I am helping her celebrate by destroying her study materials.

Step 1. Put a Bib on a Baby.

My Mom says that sometimes she feels like she is losing her mind. She forgot to put a bib on me today and look at the results. I warned her.

Go Fish.

Mom and Dad had friends from Michigan come visit, so we went to the Shedd Aquarium.

I guess Gus doesn't like the way my Mom sucks the boogers out of my nose. He thinks this he can do a better job and is protesting until we give him a chance to prove himself.

Here I am in a big red chair with my red pants on and a Valentine for my Dad. AND, I am SIX MONTHS OLD TODAY! What a lovely day!

This is how I spent my first blizzard....smiling and hanging in the warmth with my big brother Gus.

Crawl Attempt!

My parents have tried to put toys and bottles in front of me, to get me to crawl. Little did they know that I need celebrity trash to get my interest. Check it out!

Yesterday I got more shots. Here I am before them. I look just like when I was 2 months old...can you tell the difference?

But, I was 17 lbs and 3 oz and in the 90th percentage for height...that means I am tall (for right now.) I am recovering today, (and so are Mom and Dad-they went to the Auto Show Black Tie Event last night)

I finally got put in a good mood after the sad loss on Sunday.....my blog has had over 1,000 hits/vistors! I can almost certainly thank my Glamma for coming and visiting 20 times a day. I hope that I keep you all amused in the times to come.

Game Over.

This pretty much sums up the Super Bowl for me.

I got sick of wearing my Bears jersey after about the 3rd interception, but I kept on winning all the money in the squares game. AND, I was eating and ripping up all the money.

Minor Distraction

I am really trying to crawl, but my big brother Gus wants to be the only one in this house moving around on all fours!

Dad is proud of his new shirts for his company. I am wondering when he is going to either add an "O" in front of his logo or " And Son" at the end.

I am loving this solid food thing. I can wait for the summer.....ribs, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs at Cubs games. My Glamma introduced me to these cookies, who knew that cookies could liquify....they do!

You may not think that excellence occurs twice. It does. I was born in the 2006-2007 Bears season and they are going to the Super Bowl....

Under Privileged Child

My Dad buys me a new present each day for only $.35. The Chicago Tribune. Even though he isn't able to enjoy the present once I get my hands on it, I love it!

I want to apologize to everyone who got me presents for Christmas.

Time to brag to you all. I can now hold my bottle and feed myself, my parents are so happy!



And I can sit up and play with things by myself. Dad is teaching me how to drive stick shift this weekend and how to do his "move." Whatever that means.

Mom took a picture of her 3 boys before Dad went off to the Bears game today, LUCKY! And, Mom & I get to go to a baby shower during the game, not so lucky.
