Blackhawks & Birthday Parties!

And we started a huge "Coach Q Stache Rally" after the 1st period of Sunday's game....it totally helped.

Today we went to our pal Hudson's 3rd birthday party.

This time again!

Man it is depressing when school is out for summer...I really need to get on my petition to keep these kids in school year round. So, here is Oscar's 3 yr pre-school end of the year presentation. Hendrix was thrown in to the mix with Oscar and his ladies-Olivia, Charlotte and Caroline. I thought it was tough to get a picture with 2 kids looking at the camera, now 5!

Yes, I am the worst. I have tried and tried to get Oscar off the pacifier for almost a year now. We left a plate of "pacis" for Santa to take to the poor babies in Detroit for Christmas and was left with ONE. ONE has once again turned into 2. The Easter bunny was suppose to take them and give him jellybeans...but he decided he liked his paci more than candy. Then we had our favorite 2, lost them, and I keep buying more pacifiers! Well, they say that the younger child will learn from the oldest. Look what I have now. A FULL BLOWN PACIFIER PROBLEM. Can someone call Intervention for these kids?

And notice Hendrix is addicted to his giraffe and we have 3 of those too! I need an intervention!

Doctor!

I don't know what it is with these Kat kids, but they are all about nosing around at the doctor's office and snooping in people's personal medical history. I didn't have my camera, so I captured everything with my Blackberry. Here is Hendo & I at the doctor for his 18 months appt.

Happy May....2nd. Here are pics of the boyz enjoying outside.

And, I am very proud of my roses. These need more attention that my kids! I water them everyday, prune them, talk to them, love them....it is a lot of work. But, I get about a dozen roses a day from them! I am officialy the rose girl. I give them out like crazy, so if we have a date for a lunch or a coffee-lucky you!

MomKat & DadKat scored some sick seats to game 5 of the Playoffs. It was back in Chicago at the United Center and so much fun. They won in overtime and the game was amazing.

Great Post

This is something I forgot to post before we left for Florida. In early April, DadKat took off Oscar's training wheels. HE. WAS. PISSED. Then I went out and got him a helmet, just in case he has the Kat Klan riding luck. Well, as of today- the training wheels are back on and helmet is back in the box. We will attempt bike riding without training wheels over the summer.....

Yeah, the kids LOVED the helmet.

Destination-KEY WEST

We headed out to Key West for about a week. Glamma took the boys minus DadKat, MomKat and Aunt Amy out for a girls trip....kinda.

We made Rice Krispie Easter Eggs at the Kat house this year. The great thing is you can eat them and you don't get smelly farts!

Easter Egg Hunt down....3 to go

Yep, you read that right. We will have 4 egg hunts this year. And these kids are GOOD. Hendrix did the hunt with the 3-4 yr olds on Saturday and kept his own. He ran, pushed and most importantly....STOLE! You gotta grab eggs out of the baskets of the naive children not paying attention. My parenting skills are top notch.

These kids want to tear down this door, they were prepping and making a plan of attack.

These kids are boot crazy in this house. I should mention, RAIN boots and yes, only in the house. Hendrix was obesessing over Oscar's rain boots, so I got him a pair. He wakes up in the morning demanding they be put on, then grabs Oscar's for him to put his on for a big ol' rain boot party.

One of the greatest accomplishments and benchmarks I look upon as a mother is the first time my children sit still and watch television. (think they are singing with Dora here) And, yes....it has happened! I can work on the computer, take a shower, cook dinner, EAT dinner...go on and on! The travel bookings have begun, I am so excited to go on an airplane now! Watch out Allyson, the Kat Klan may be coming to Australia!

And finally, GUS. He is almost 8 years old. He is moving good and like people....sometimes he shuts his eyes when you are trying to take a picture!
